TraCS Florida is a program funded by a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to provide Florida law enforcement agencies (LEAs) with a cost effective (FREE) way to submit crash data electronically to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) and citation data to local county clerks of court.Want to get started? »
TraCS provides numerous forms for traffic and criminal reporting. Our mission is to support law enforcement in their daily activities and we are always developing more electronic forms.
TraCS Florida regularly attends meetings with Florida’s Traffic Records Coordinating Committee (TRCC) (visit their site) and contributes towards Florida’s 5 year strategic plan to drive down fatalities through better data collection and use. We are always looking for agencies to provide feedback to TraCS so that we can share the needs of LEAs to the state in these TRCC meetings. The TraCS Florida Development Team is located in the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and the Florida State University (FAMU-FSU) College of Engineering in Tallahassee, Florida.
